I’m going to take this opportunity to talk about a few of my teammates from the Minnesota School of Martial Arts who are fighting this Saturday in Austin.

Fights start at 6 p.m. sharp and a few tickets remain. Hit up my teammates if you want to join us ... it's going to be an awesome night in Austin!

First up for my teammates, we have Lucas Luloff vs. Jay Paulson at 170 pounds.

Luke is coming off of a loss and looking to get back in the win column after taking a tough setback in July against Michael Bullen. Luke trains his butt off day in and day out. He’s one of the guys in the gym who I look up to because of his great work ethic and determination. Luke has the heart of a lion and he leaves it all in the cage every time he steps in there.

This fight is going to be a little bitter sweet for the both of us because Jay Paulson beat me in a bout a few years back. I can really see this fight being stopped early in the first or second round via submission or TKO. Luke is one of those guys who never stops fighting and I expect to see his hand raised in victory at the end of this bout.

Next up, Sean Strube vs. Eddy Albrecht at 145 pounds.

"Evil" Eddy is looking to extend his winning streak to three with this bout against Sean Strube. Eddy is a very well-rounded fighter and he seems comfortable off his back and on his feet. He has a very solid striking game and he’s always moving and hitting angles,
